In celebration of International Women’s Day, Tameside Primary Academy’s girls’ football team had the exciting opportunity to participate in a football day hosted by West Bromwich Albion.
During the day, pupils took part in a range of coaching activities, before being surprised by a special visit from the from the West Bromwich Albion Women’s team, who inspired and encouraged our aspiring young players as they shared their own valuable insights, experiences and motivations when it came to pursuing their sporting dreams.
While this event celebrated International Women’s Day, it also served as a powerful reminder of the growing awareness, support and emerging of opportunities for female athletes, particularly in the world of football.
