Tameside Primary Academy offers a variety of extra-curricular that are fun and challenging for all.
At Tameside, there are a number of school clubs which run each term for Years 1 – 6.
Our aim for these clubs is to offer our pupils opportunities to develop a variety of skills and enrich their education. Clubs always start the second week of the autumn, spring and summer terms and the second week after each half term break. For some of the clubs, where an outside provider is used, there is a minimal charge which can be paid at the School Office.
Through the Trust, the school works with experts locally and nationally to provide high-quality programmes of study to ensure your child’s progress in that given area. At Tameside, we believe that a whole education is important; we therefore provide a mixture of opportunities that complement children’s progress in core subjects such as English and Mathematics.
Working with Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust we also provide a range of services and activities through our Extended Services programme, often beyond the school day to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community. These include access to parenting support programmes, opportunities for family trips to the Birmingham Hippodrome to see productions at a reduced cost and helping to establish links with local health and social care organisations.
