Keeping Every Child Safe, Every Day.
At Tameside Primary Academy, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, and we work in partnership with families, staff, and external agencies to ensure the welfare and protection of all pupils. Our priority is to keep every child safe, every day.
If you have any concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child at Tameside Primary Academy please contact one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) listed below. They are trained to listen, support, and take appropriate action to ensure every child is safe.
Designated Safeguarding Lead:
Charlotte Duhig
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads:

We are an Operation Encompass Academy.
This is the early reporting to school when a child has been exposed to domestic violence or domestic abuse. School can then monitor the child and provide support if necessary. If you are a victim of domestic abuse or domestic violence or know someone who is, school can provide a wide range of support. Speak to headteachers for further information.
The Operation Encompass website offers support for victims of domestic abuse.
Families Together supports families living in Sandwell to improve family relationships and prevent domestic abuse – offering group support.
Are you worried about a child?
The safety and welfare of all our children is our priority. If you are concerned about a child please contact a member of our Safeguarding Team, or alternatively, Sandwell Children’s Trust. If you know that a child is in immediate danger, please contact the police by calling 999.
