Families and Carers
School-home relationships are vital in ensuring that everyone within the school community shares in our joint vision.
To us, families are our partners in learning; we will work together to support both the pastoral and academic sides of our children’s education. To help enable this, our communication with parents and families is essential. We have three key methods of communication:
Face to Face
- Parents Evenings are held once per term and allow us to communicate information about your child’s learning and progress.
- Celebration Assemblies are held every week; these allow parents and families to join us in recognising and celebrating the many achievements of our children.
- The Family Forum enables families to influence the quality of education for our children and their community. There are regular opportunities for families to get involved and offer suggestions to help us to improve further as a school. These informal but vital meetings act as a barometer and feed into the Standards and Performance Committee Meetings.
- The EYFS, ‘Stay and Play Sessions’ offer regular opportunities for parents and carers to join their children and engage in meaningful learning through play. These sessions will be a great opportunity for your child to show off their skills and interests, showing you what they have been learning.
- Family Forum aims to enable families and the local community to influence the quality of education for your children and for their community and offer suggestions to help us to improve further as a school. These informal but vital meetings act as a barometer and feed into the Standards and Performance Committee Meeting
