The latest data from Sandwell local authority show that:

• Our pupils exceed Sandwell and National averages for the combined expected standard at Key Stage 2.
• Key Stage 1 pupils exceed Sandwell and National achievements in Reading, Writing and Mathematics at the greater depth standard.
• In writing, high-attaining pupils exceed both Sandwell and National achievements by over 10%.
• Key Stage 2 pupils at Tameside exceed both Sandwell and National achievements in all subjects – Reading, Writing, Mathematics and combined measures. This places us in the top 20 of the 86 schools in Sandwell for the combined measure.
• Key Stage 2 Mathematics results are in the top ten out of 86 Sandwell Primary schools.

Apply for a school place

If your child is due to start Reception in September 2025, we are excited to welcome you to our school! Below is an overview of the application process to secure a place for your child.

Key dates:

• Application Deadline: 15 January 2025
• Offer Day: 16 April 2025 – you will be notified of your child’s allocated school place.

How to apply:

1. Online application: Applications for Reception places must be submitted through your local council’s online school admissions system. Visit the council’s website and complete the form within the given deadlines. Information for Sandwell local authority admissions >>
2. Information required: Ensure you have the following details ready:
   • Your child’s full name, date of birth, and home address
   • Parent or guardian’s contact information
   • Your top school preferences – you may list several schools, make sure you put your preferred school at the top of the list.
