Tameside Primary Academy recently celebrated Antibullying Week with a range of activities focused on fostering kindness, inclusivity, and self-respect. Students engaged in discussions about the power of positive language, the importance of standing up for others, and celebrating what makes each individual unique.
The week culminated in a lively assembly featuring poetry, singing, and messages of acceptance, alongside a non-uniform day where children proudly wore clothing that expressed their personal identities.
Mitchell Hill, Principal at Tameside Primary Academy, said: “Antibullying Week is a highlight of our school calendar and this year our pupils fully embraced the messages of positivity and inclusion. It was wonderful to see them reflect on the importance of kindness and respect. We reinforced that we are all unique and accepted here at Tameside – a community built on unity and support.”
The celebration of Antibullying Week highlighted the Academy’s dedication to maintaining a school environment where every child feels safe, celebrated and empowered to thrive.
