Breakfast and after-school clubs
At Tameside Primary Academy, we understand that families have different needs; to accommodate this we offer breakfast and after-school clubs.

Whilst our Breakfast club and Afterschool Clubs are run by Tameside, we have an after school provision who, independent of Tameside, cater for childcare off site.

Breakfast Club 7.45am - 8.40am
We offer a breakfast club to support families who need to bring their children to school early. The children who attend enjoy a caring, safe and fun environment, full of activities and opportunities to play, learn and socialise. All children are welcome to attend as the club caters for children from Nursery to Year 6
Breakfast Club Details:
- Breakfast Club runs every day that school is open to children, from 7.45am. Last entry is 8.20am. Your child will then be taken to their classroom for registration at 8.40am.
- The entrance for Breakfast Club is through the Key Stage 2 hall external door.
- You will need to sign your child in when they come in.
- Breakfast will be available until 8.15am.
- Breakfast Club provision is available from Nursery to Year 6.
- The cost of a session is £3.00 per day per child.
- As spaces can be limited, you must pre-pay and pre-book via Arbor to ensure that a space is/are available for your child/ren.
- A wide range of activities will be available for your child/children during Breakfast Club.
Please note: unless you pre-book and pre-pay for Breakfast club sessions your child/ren will not be able to attend.
Each child must be pre-registered, via the School Office, to attend Breakfast Club. All payment must be made via Arbor.
After-school clubs 3.30pm - 4.30pm
Afterschool Clubs are held across Year 1 to Year 6.
Monday (23rd Feb to 23rd March 2026)
- Years 1 & 2: Drama Club
- Years 3, 4, 5 &6: Running Club
- Year 1: Purple Mash Computer (taster club)
Tuesday (24th February to 24th March 2026)
- Years 1 & 2: Art Club
- Years 5 & 6: Multisport (Dodgeball/football) Club
Wednesday (25th February to 25th March 2026)
- Years 4 & 5: Dance Club
Thursday (26th February to 26th March 2026)
- Years 3 & 4: Forest Club
Terms and conditions: These clubs are held after school – 3.30pm to 4.30pm (times subject to change). There is a small cost per Club. All children attending clubs must be collected by a responsible adult. If your child, in Year 5 or 6, has permission to walk home, you must inform us if they will not be attending – prior to the session.
In the event your child does not secure a place this time, they will have another opportunity later in the academic year.
